Virtual fitting room and size recommendation for fashion e-commerce: a 3D avatar with no photo, and the recommended size for each garment.
OptiDress is the infrastructure for fashion e-commerce, from try-on to checkout. On a brand's store, shoppers create their 3D avatar from their height, weight and body type, with five optional measurements, without uploading a photo or creating an account. They see garments worn on their avatar and get the recommended size for each garment. The avatar is kept for 30 days on the store. The brand follows its try-ons and sales from a built-in dashboard.
OptiDress installs as a native app on Shopify, as a WordPress plugin on WooCommerce, and through a script on other platforms. Founded in 2026 in Paris by Arthur Renard and Raphaël Zafran.
A flat photo tells you nothing about the drape, the cut, or the size you should really order. The result: visitors who hesitate and leave, sizes ordered in duplicate, returns eating into margins.

They see the brand's garments worn on their own avatar, right from the product page.
For each garment, OptiSize shows the recommended size and explains the others: runs small, runs big, too small, too big. The recommendation matches the shopper's measurements with the garment's real data (measurements, cut, fabric).
From installation, a dashboard shows which garments are tried on and in which sizes, sales with and without OptiDress, and the cost of returns.

“Five years from now, nobody will buy clothing online without trying it on first. We want to be where that try-on happens.”
In clothing since he was 15, Arthur has sold thousands of pieces online, from Vinted reselling to e-commerce stores. Years spent understanding, order after order, what people who shop online every day really go through.
At 14, Raphaël was learning to code; two years later he joined his first SaaS. A backend specialist and fullstack expert, he built OptiDress from scratch.
